Eight Suspects Arrested in Ongoing Tuscaloosa Predator Sting Operation; More Arrests Expected

In a multi agency joint eort to arrest predators, 8 arrests were made in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The West Alabama Human Tracking Task Force worked in conjunction with Tuscaloosa Police Department, University of Alabama Police Department, Tuscaloosa County Sheris Oce, Northport Police Department, Brookwood Police Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Tracking Hope. The suspects, all ranging between the ages of 19 to 69, were all charged with electronic solicitation of a minor and traveling to meet with a minor for an unlawful sex act with a few of them getting additional charges of transmitting obscene material to a child. All the arrests have been made in the last two weeks; the task force said that the operation is ongoing and that more arrests are expected to be made.
