Yuba County Predator Sting Operation Leads to Arrest of 14 Suspects Including A Special Education Technician
A predator sting operation in Yuba County led to the arrest of 14 suspects including one who worked as a special education technician for the Sacramento County of Education. Moises Cordero, pictured above, a 39-year-old employee of the Sacramento County of Education since 2004, was working as a special education technician for a juvenile hall prior to his arrest. He, alongside 13 other suspects were arrested after they were caught in a sting operation that saw them reach out to who they believed to be underage girls on social media and started explicit conversations with them intending to meet them. Upon arriving, the suspects were met by law enforcement and subsequently placed under arrest. The suspects ranged between the ages of 26 to 81. Cordero was placed on administrative leave upon his arrest. Yuba County Sheri’s oce is asking for anyone who may have been contacted by Cordero or anyone else arrested in the sting operation to reach out to them.
